I am writing this letter to express my satisfaction with Jim Kerr and the work he did at my home.
From start to finish Jim was professional, thorough, understanding, willing to listen and very considerate of our family’s needs, Most of my satisfaction with Jim stems from the fact that I had my 6-month old daughter at home while Jim was working. He was patient with my bringing him to Home Depot with us; he talked to her and was careful with his noise and understanding of her needs while working (even though she was screaming instead of falling asleep.) I was especially happy with the fact that he anticipated her being asleep when he returned from lunch and knocked very lightly at the door. That goes above and beyond the call of duty.

As far as Jim’s work ethic, he did a very neat, clean and good job in installing bath a water purifier in the kitchen and vent fan in the bathroom. Some servicemen’s jobs look slapped together, but Jim’s work is very professionally executed and I am grateful for that as I am such a detail oriented person and he is the same way in his workmanship.

Tips for around the home

Sediment in your hot water tank reduces efficiency.

Keep your water heater sediment-free by flushing it out at least once a year. When you drain your water heater, plan ahead and do it after everyone in the family takes a shower or you've run a load of dishes BE VERY CAREFUL THE WATER WILL BE VERY HOT!

A leaky faucet that drips a gallon of water in 15 minutes will use 2,974 gallons in a month.

Buy only quality paint brushes you will be amazed at the difference.

If you are not sure which outlet a switch goes to; generally it will be the one installed upside down.

Never use an electrical device outside without a GFI (ground fault interceptor) it could save your life.

Never use a larger wattage light bulb than a fixture is rated for because it will cook the wiring and cause a fire hazard.

To seal a concrete floor simply wax it with any type of floor wax.

Drywall finishing and patching with no sanding is the only way to keep drywall dust out of your home.

Federal Pacific breaker panels should all be replaced. Some States have already required it.

Tired of cleaning paint brushes put it in a plastic bag in the freezer. Then let it thaw and start painting. Frozen brushes keep a few days.

Tired of running an extension cord for Christmas lights have a GFI outlet installed in your soffit.
